Back in late 2014, I came across Brendan Baker’s top 100 personal development blogs list.
Since that day, I set a goal to be featured on that top 100 personal development blogs list. Then I forgot about it.
Fast forward to January 2016 and I was featured in that top 100 personal development blogs list by Brendan Baker.
And I’m extremely grateful for it. I continue to get a stream of people coming to this blog because of it.
It’s here! The Top 100 Personal Development Blogs 2016 httpss://t.co/ewvDTfiRIb You’re going to love this list… feel free to share!

And now I’ve been featured in another list – 2016’s daily dose of inspirational blogs, by Health Care Administrator. That was a little over a week ago on a Saturday.

And now I’m getting a stream of new people coming to my blog because of that feature as well. I don’t say any of this to sound like I’m bragging or being arrogant.
No, I say this to express not only how grateful I am for this to happen TWICE this year, but to show you an example of what persistence can do for you.
Back in 2014 after having to close one of my businesses, and dealing with all the BS setbacks that came with it, I was on the verge of quitting my blog. I felt like throwing in the towel and accepting defeat.
But of course I came to my senses, slapped myself in the face, and reminded myself of the reason I started this website. As well as the goals I’m striving for, my long term plans, and everything else that ties into it.
I reminded myself of all the progress I made up until that point, and I also reminded myself of this brutally honest quote……
Remember that guy that gave up? Neither does anybody else.
I’ve came along way since starting my personal development journey 3 years ago.
And I anticipate many many more accomplishments, achievements, awards, and success for myself. And more importantly, success for those I care about, and the things I care about.
One step at a time, one day at a time. I will make it happen. And I’ll share the whole process and my progress along the way for your benefit.
