How To Live In The Moment
It’s so damn easy to get caught up in the future and what’s to come. It’s also easy to get caught up in past situations, especially when strong emotions are attached to the memories. What you’ve gotta realize though, is the past is gone forever, and the future is unknown to an extent. I guess the quote is true – People fear what they don’t know. But when you think about it logically, there’s no better time to focus on other than the present.
It’s today that determines tomorrow, it’s your actions through out the week that’ll determine your results next week… The actions you take this year are gonna have a MAJOR impact on your life the year after. Correct? It’s okay to have goals and plan your future of course, but it’s best not to get to caught up in it because it’s impossible to know the outcome step by step anyway.
Live In The Moment
1. Enjoy Your Life For What It Is
One minute your here, the next minute you’re gone as they say… Right now, across the world, there are hundreds or more people dying, young and old. It would be pretty shit to spend your day today stressing about the future, if you was only gonna die tomorrow. Imagine that?
There’s no time to waste, so enjoy every moment you have EVERYDAY. I don’t care how busy your life is because if you have a strong desire to be happy, you’ll make room for it. Even if it’s just 5 minutes of your day, at least those 5 minutes were worthwhile.
2. Take Action Today To Create A Better Tomorrow
If there’s a passion you’ve been dying to pursue, but you’ve been holding back for some time now, what are you waiting for? We all have dreams and we all would love to live them. If you hold off following your dreams because of your fear of the future and how things might turn out… My question to you is – what have you got to lose? Many who are successful didn’t end up going for their dreams until they were in there 40’s & 50’s. The present creates your future, it’s never too late.
3. Focus On What You Can Do NOW
There’s no use throwing all your energy into focusing on what you can’t do yet. No matter what position you’re in, regardless of how hard it may be, focus on what you CAN do today. What you have today is more than enough to help you progress.
An example.. If you wanna start your own eBay business don’t focus on the things you can’t buy to sell on at wholesale price, focus on what you CAN buy to sell on at wholesale price. It doesn’t matter if it’ll only make you a little bit of money, because over time that money will begin to build up nicely. Our brains operate in the present, not the future.
